When the world is small and sad.

Yesterday I read a friend's Facebook status that mentioned the witnessing of a terrible car accident and the lingering memory of an infant car seat on the road.

Today I read another friend's Facebook status that is in mourning of one of the victims from the same crash.

What a terrible coincidence.

My heart aches for the families of all four victims, and for the little baby, who was saved by that very car seat was lucky enough to be the only survivor, but will now grow up without a mother.
