the burden of responsibility I bear.
We have a responsibility to not cast pearls before swine, however we also have a responsibility not to light a candle and then hide it under a bush. We have a responsibility to nuture and guide the new and the lost. How dare we clumsily, even accidentally sow seeds into the earth, and then press our thumb firmly over the tender green shoots, stifling all growth. How can we witness the beauty of new life, and then discard it like kittens in a sack, tossed unfeelingly into icy waters, left with no option but to perish. We are responsible for ourselves yes. But we are also responsible for others, those we brush up against leaving our influence lingering like scent.
