if i have ever loved you... this is for you.

I have never meant to bring confusion or sorrow. I didn't want to be a burden....an albatross of melancholy. I apologize for my inability to retreat or let go. I wanted to uplift and I failed. To strengthen and not weaken. To ensure that human value was never doubted or questioned.

The goal was to preserve not destroy. I did the best I could. It wasn't good enough.
