It's been awhile... where was I?
Oh ya... Dal and I went to Fairmont for the week before Christmas .... the condo was full up of brown indians, mostly from the Mathews side. The white ones enjoyed being the minority. We had a pretty good time I'd say. Drank too much eggnog (Dal didn't know eggnog before fairmont, but they made friends real fast), ate some singapore curry noodles, and generally napped in the loft and sat in the hottub under huge flakes. Hard life huh?
I recommend a tasty little spot called Lussier (White Swan) Hot Springs in the east kootenays just off of hwy 93. They are quite amazing under a full moon, or at any time I would imagine...
Today is Christmas Day and I am missing my daughter and Frederick ( i thought I would never say that!)... but my mom made her usual christmas extravaganza, and I have overeaten once again, and really what else is christmas about? Starbucks was even open today, so I started the day off with a chai, and it doesn't get much better than that for me.
